Rules & Regulations

1. A student must carry his/her diary to the Academy every day. It must have his/her photograph and complete information signed by the parents & class teacher.

2. Students must hang by the neck their identity Cards every day to show them at the school gate or elsewhere if asked for.

3. Students who come to school in their own transport should arrive at school before the bell rings. No students is allowed to come to school in a self driven scooter, motor cycle or car.

4. SCHOOL UNIFORM is mandatory for all students as specified below (Monday to Thursday.)

4(a) Boys’ Uniform (Nursery to V): Sky Blue Cheque Shirt with Sky Blue Pant (haif), white Socks and Black Shoes.

Girls ‘Uniform (Nursery to V): Sky Blue Cheque shirt with Sky Blue Skirt, white Socks and Black Shoes.

Boys` Uniform (VI to X): Sky Blue Cheque shirt, Full pant, white Socks and Black Shoes.

Girls` Uniform (VI to X): Sky Blue Cheque shirt, sky blue Skirt, Leggings (white), Socks and Black Shoes.

House Dress (Only on Friday): House Dress (Red, Green, Blue & Yellow) is also mandatory for all students with White Trousers White Skirts and White Socks with Canvas Shoes.

4(b) Students should be neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all working days during school function and excursions.

5. Girls should plait their hair if it is below the shoulders. Short hair should be neatly cut and pinned.

6. Student are expected to respect the property of others including School property. No student should damage any school furniture, write or draw on walls, furniture or in any way damage hinges belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the principal. Any damage done will have to be made good by the one who causes it.

7. The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is advisable not to bring voluble articles to school.

8. Call phones, unwanted papers, cameras, i-pod etc. are not allowed in school. The said items will never be given back to the owner.

9. Students should not wear any jeweler in the school. Girls may wear only one pair of small ear rings. Mehandi studs and Bindia are not under any circumstances permitted in the school.

10. Students who come to school and go home in the care of attendants should not leave before the attendant arrives. In case of delay, the should report to the school office.

11. Students should be polite wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They must greet their teachers and visitors when they meet them.

12. Changing of classrooms between periods should be done in silence and in an orderly manner.

13. The school reserves the right to suspend or take strict disciplinary action against a student whose progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.

14. As far as possible, once a child has come to school, he/she should not request to take half day leave.

15. Students must not miss any teaching/games/library/activity period.

16. Students must not indulge in any of the following practices.

  1. Spitting in or near the school building.
  2. Disfiguring or otherwise damaging any school property.
  3. Smoking.
  4. Any form of gambling/addiction.
  5. Rowdyism, rude behavior and bullying.
  6. Use of violence in any form.
  7. Casteism, communalism or practice of untouchability.
  8. Misbehavior towards girl students.
  9. Intentional disturbance in the classes.
  10. Absence from classes without permission of the teacher.
  11. Use of foul language and vulgarity in their talk and behavior.
  12. Shouting and whistling in the school building.
  13. Chewing anything or having Tiffin during the class hours.

17. A happy birthday wise will be offered to a student`s birthday during assembly hour without any formal celebration. The student concerned will come in the school uniform and can only give toffees/chocolate to their fellow friends.

18. Students are forbidden to give their teachers individual or collective presents. Collection for any purpose whatsoever requires the principal`s sanction.

19. Daily requirement and TIFFIN have to be brought to the school by the students. No item will be accepted at the school counter or gate.

20. Students are responsible to Academy authorities for their conduct not only in the Academy but also for their general behavior outside.

Any report of objectionable conduct outside the Academy on the part of pupils will make them liable to disciplinary action. It is expected that through their good behavior they must enhance the image and prestige of the Academy.

21. Staying away from mandatory school functions, like Academy Foundation day, Independence day, Rakhi Festival, Teachers day, Annual Sports day, Vivekananda`s Birthday, Republic Day, major breach of discipline.

22. Leave must be obtained by the written application from Guardian in the “Leave Record page”. Pupils must be present on the opening and closing days of each term/vacation.

2.6 OBTAINING TRANSFER CERTIFICATE (TC)

Request for TC will be made in writing by the parent of the student concerned. Every such request should be accompanied with the TC charge at least 7 days before obtaining TC

2.7LATE ARRIVAL IN THE ACADEMY

1. The school gate will close immediately after the second bell meant for commencement of class.

2. All late arrivals will have to be accompanied by parents remarks in the specified page of the diary next day.

3. Three late arrivals will lead to the student being sent back home without any notice.

4. During Examinations no late arrivals will be allowed under any circumstances.
